Manu Ginobli continued to show why he is arguably the world’s best all around player(See 2004 Olympics) by completely dominating the Denver Nuggets during the Spurs’ 86-78 Game 3 victory.

Ginobli made highlight after highlight en route to a 10-21, 32-point 9 rebound night off the bench. Ginobli was the swan in what was an ugly duckling of a game.

No other Spur scored half as many with Tim Duncan shooting an anemic 5-19 from the floor, but some how behind Ginobli the Spurs would not be denied the opportunity to take a commanding 2-1 lead in this best of seven series.

While they got the win tonight, they’re going to have to play better if they expect to win game 4. The truth of the matter is that despite Manu’s grace, the Spurs played a very ugly game but still managed to win.

They shot 38 percent from the floor, 6-18 from threes, and turned the ball over 15 times.

They did however get a very solid contribution from Robert Horry who made 2 crucial three pointers during the decisive run.

The Spurs will look to get much more offensive production out of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker in Game 4 and will also look to play a much better all around game.

A win’s a win in the NBA but it may not turn out that way in Game 4 if the Spurs repeat their Game 3 performance, well all except Manu Ginobli, who showed that he can carry a team when needed of him, if there’s any doubt check the 2004 Argentinean Olympic team.
