The San Antonio Spurs have a lot of changes to make prior to Game 2 if they want to make life easier than it has become now that they have fallen behind the Nuggets 0-1, after Denver defeated them 93-87.

Nazr Mohammed and Manu Ginobli were pretty much the only ones that came to play tonight combining for 38 points on 14-24 from the field.

The Spurs did a good job in limiting the point totals of both Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin, but they must get more points out of their role players such as Brent Barry, who brought a donut to the game, and Tony Parker who couldn’t get a basketball into Paris’ Seine river with his horrendous 6-17 shooting night.

Tim Duncan also shot an improbable 7-22 from the floor and the Spurs will need much more than that from Fundamental if they want to advance to the next round of the playoffs.

Look for the Spurs to play a much more solid game and for their role players to step it up in Game 2.
